Work and Travel - the cultural exchange program for students wishing to get closer to American culture and traditions, to improve English, get more working experience, have fun with a new friends and travel in USA. And, of course, to earn some money.
About the Program
Work and Travel is a exchange students program, well known by the youth all over the world.
This program offers you an opportunity to get closer with a culture, traditions and way of life in USA.At the same time, the program gives you a possibility to get more work experience in the field of hospitality.
 
There are two types of W&T program:
Self Arranged
Participants have to take care of the job placement and accommodation
Premium
Participants get a job placement and accommodation
Types of the job:

Restaurants(Bar Attendant, Waiter, Parking staff, Line Cook,Bartender)

Hotels/Resorts( Front Desk,Waiter,Rentals,Cashier, Room Services)

Amusement parks(Ticket sales, Game host, Ride operator, Lifeguard)

Moving companies(Swift Moving and Storage ,Drivers, Heavy Lifting)

Retail(Retail Cashiers, Lab Operator, Wholesale clerk, Store clerk)

Duration of the program
The legit of the program is 4+1 (you can work for 4 months and 1 month you could travel)
Eligibility criteria

18-28 years old
-
Currently enrolled in a program of post-secondary study.Program may not follow last year of study and must begin after competition of the minimum of one semester of university study.

Able to participate during your summer vacation.

Able to arrive on the designated date

Intermediate level of English

Transport and Accommodation
The transportation to USA can be arranged by Acord, upon participants request, wile
transportation on the US territory will have to be arranged by participants personally.
Living accommodation is generally identified and described in the job offer. Participants are responsible for paying for housing directly to the entity renting the space
Aplication Documents
The documents needed to apply for a program, will have to be prepared after you pass the interview, conform the list , provided by Acord staff.
